Tune In West is run by four organisations – Brewhouse Inkubator, the Academy of Music and Drama, Kulturförvaltningen i VGR and Tillväxtverket. Together they cover project management, academic expertise, regional knowledge and funding.

Kulturförvaltningen i VGR

Kulturförvaltningen i VGR is the cultural department of Region Västra Götaland, responsible for regional culture, creative industries and support for the wider cultural sector across the region.

As a funder in Tune In West, Kulturförvaltningen contributes resources and regional expertise to build a stronger music industry in Västra Götaland.

Tillväxtverket

Tillväxtverket is a Swedish government agency working to strengthen businesses and create conditions for growth across the country. They manage EU structural funds and national programmes for regional development.

Through Tune In West, Tillväxtverket supports the music industry's digitalisation and internationalisation, with the aim of strengthening the creative industries' role in Sweden's economy.

Project lead & organiser

Brewhouse Inkubator

Brewhouse Inkubator is an incubator programme in Gothenburg for entrepreneurs and creative businesses in music, culture and technology. They help companies grow from idea to sustainable operation through coaching, structured support and a strong network.

As project lead for Tune In West, Brewhouse Inkubator has overall responsibility – from Music Tech Summit and masterclasses to the mentorship programme and the workshop series for music businesses across West Sweden.

Academic partner

Högskolan för scen och musik

Högskolan för scen och musik, at the University of Gothenburg, is one of the Nordic region's leading schools for artistic education and research in music, opera and performing arts. They combine practical artistic training with academic research.

Within Tune In West, HSM leads the work on Music and AI – including pilot projects on AI's role in music creation, copyright questions, and sharing knowledge out into the industry through national collaborations.
